BRTV Band Performance Show

Background:

Beijing Radio & Television Station will be filming a television program that involved elders and youths performing at the same show. As a frequent performer at school events, our band was invited to perform a cover of a Chinese song that will be recorded and broadcasted. Additionally, I was part of the organization process at BCIS, which mostly involved organizing auditions among the elementary school students.

Stages of Action:

For band performance

1. Discussing and choosing the song that our band will perform

2. Practicing the song individually

3. Rehearsing as a group and identifying necessary improvements

4. Setting up the equipment for the recording the day before

5. Communicating with TV crew to ensure best results

6. Performing several times and picking out the best for the show

For organizing the show

1. Sorting through the applications and differentiate by performance type

2. Assigning audition times with gaps and breaks in the middle

3. Sending out necessary documents and communicating with relevant people

4. Arranging the auditions according to the predetermined order on audition day

5. Escorting the children to the auditions on time

6. Keeping track of the background music and artist that are used in the performances
